“It is obviously extremely interesting and fun to
work with a Japanese client that has truly understood
the importance of design. They allow for great creative freedom as well as being extremely commercial
and showing great care”, says
Susanna Nygren Barrett, Creative Director.
It is also Nygren Barrett who has designed BVD’s latest
products for Askul, a series of memory sticks and a wall
clock where the most impor-
tant numbers are marked, not
in the usual way but with consideration taken for the
most important times during the working day – nine
o’clock when people arrive, twelve o’clock when they
eat lunch and five o’clock when they go home.
