On Sunday the European Design Awards were
handed out in Stockholm. The Swedish design and branding agency BVD won two golds in competition
with 970 entries from all over Europe.

The award for the Blossa Annual Edition Glögg (mulled wine), in the category Packaging – Alcoholic Drinks, was an example of how the design is appreciated
by both juries and consumers. Blossa Annual Edition Glögg sold out just a few weeks after its release
in December.

BVD received its second gold in the category Packa-
ging – Miscellaneous for the Electorlux Ultra Silencer Special Edition Pia Wallén project, a totally white vacuum cleaner with similarly startling packaging designed by BVD.

BVD was also nominated for the coffee chain concept Stories and for Blossa Trestjärning Calvados.

”It’s extremely exciting, and a confirmation for us that there is no contradiction between a top selling product and high quality graphic design. We are very proud!” say BVD’s CEO Mattias Börjesson.
