In the panel debate both Filippa K and IKEA shared their experiences of CSR and environmental work. The debate was in large part about what motivates com-
panies to engage themselves with climate and CSR issues. All participants agreed that it’s an issue of commercial interests and also something relevant for the brand to engage in. All speakers also encouraged cooperation between companies through the exchange of knowledge and experience. Tesco, IKEA and Filippa K also had advice for those companies that haven’t

come quite as far in their work with the environment
and CSR. Most companies have had an environmental policy for some time, but few have yet to adjust to the situation we now find ourselves in. Advice on becoming one of the leaders in this work included involving
your customers and making sure your heart was in
your actions.

The seminar ended with time to mingle and taste Blossa 07, this year’s special edition of mulled wine.
